Vancity Member Day at Science World + a Giveaway

I've got some great news for you: Vancity Member Day at Science World is TOMORROW! That means if you're a Vancity member, April 20th, from 10am-5pm you can show your Vancity MEMBER CARD® debit card or Vancity enviro™ Visa* (or other form of membership verification) & you'll get in for half price. That’s a savings of $11.25 on adult admission!


Vancity is offering Member Day as a part of Green Month, which kicked off April 18th & runs until May 17th. They will be on site at Science World throughout the day with fun games & prizes. You can meet some of Vancity's community partners who will have interactive displays & demonstrations on how they contribute to a greener community.

Green Month & Member Day at Science World are part of Vancity's mandate to improve the well-being of members & their communities, which includes environmental sustainability. Green Month at Science World is an opportunity for everyone to learn more about creating a sustainable future in a fun & interactive way.

  1. Yay! LOVE science world and our membership just expired! The green thing we do....put food scraps out for curbside collection instead of landfill/garbuerator-ing them. And recycle. And bring our own bags shopping.

  5. I don't have a car, nor do I have plans to get one. We also don't have a TV, but more for mental health reasons than planetary health! :) Would love a science world membership. I promise to walk there.

    1. Good for you--the less meat we all eat, the better for the environment. It really takes a lot of water, energy & creates a lot of pollution to make a kilo of animal protein. It's a goal of mine to reduce our meat consumption around here too.
